In case you missed my interview that aired this past Monday Sept. 15 on KDHX with MK Stallings you can check it out here. It was great talking candidly about dealing with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Scleroderma and how it has affected me during the creation of my book LOVEPOWER Mixtape vol. 1 Relativity and my EP of the same name. Hope you enjoy it and if you do please leave a comment below:)
I couldn't be more delighted to be a part of a wonderful tribute for the late, great, poet, activist and humantitarian (just to name a few of her vast accomplishments), Dr. Maya Angelou. I have been asked to adapt a spoken word piece from "I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings" to lend a voice to her work.
Please join me Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014 4pm-5pm at the Missouri History Museum's Lee Auditorium for this family friendly, free event.
