FeliceSkye Cast As Sigmund Freud and More! - The Last Days of Judas Iscariot|Oct 10 - 28

One of the things I adore about acting is you get to play unexpected characters. I've played a pig, butterfly, a drunk, a mind-controlling doctor and a trickster, just to name a few. As a voice over actress, I've voiced all kinds of characters across the age and gender spectrum. Which is not uncommon. As long as the voice for that character is believable,(or what the director wants) you're golden because the viewer of the end product only sees what is presented to them as the character. Unless it's a radio drama, commercial, an audio book or something where the character isn't seen. These formats usually require the audience's imagination.

Now, never in a million years would I have thought I'd play Sigmund Freud on stage! This was a stretch for me, especially since I got cast last minute (on the first day of rehearsal to be exact) to replace another actor. My Austrian dialect was a bit rough in the beginning, but I had fun shaping and owning it as best I could during rehearsals and I can't wait for the audience's responses to come.

You'll have to check me out in "The Last Days of Judas Iscariot" at Mustard Seed Theatre and tell me which one of my characters are your favorite: the sassy newly "winged" Gloria, Matthew- formerly a Jewish tax collector-now follower of Jesus, and of course, the infamous Dr. Sigismund Shlomo Freud (I hope you read his name with an Austrian accent).

The show runs October 10th - 28th and you can find tickets and more info here.
